Founded in 1988 by Marcel Degagne, the Degagne PRO Group has grown from a small local builder into a trusted leader in residential and commercial construction across the region.
Today, under the leadership of his son Dan Degagne, the company continues to expand its capabilities through its specialized divisions: Carpentry, Exteriors, Renovations, Restorations, Aggregates, PROFound, and PROBuild.
Together, these divisions allow Degagne PRO Group to deliver fully integrated solutions, from site preparations and foundations to custom finishes and complete builds, while proudly carrying forward a legacy of craftsmanship, integrity, and commitment to the community.

Degagne Carpentry
Marcel Degagne founds Degagne Carpentry in Corbeil, Ontario. The business specializes in custom home construction and community development, serving North Bay and the surrounding Nipissing District. The foundation of what would become the Degagne Pro Group.

Degagne Development
The residential land development arm of the group is established, focused on the acquisition, preparation, and development of residential land across the Nipissing District.
Degagne Exteriors
Launched as a division of Degagne Carpentry, Degagne Exteriors takes on all exterior work: roofing, commercial and residential siding, and eavestrough installation. A natural extension of the group's residential capabilities.
PROBuild Commercial Contracting
PROBuild is founded in partnership with Mat Labonte to serve the commercial construction market in Northern Ontario. Offering commercial builds, pre-engineered steel structures, commercial renovations, and full in-house design and drafting, PROBuild brings the Degagne standard to larger-scale commercial projects.
PROVision
The commercial land development arm of the group is established, working alongside PROBuild to provide end-to-end commercial development services from land acquisition through to construction-ready site preparation.
